Tshiuetin means “North Wind”. A selected expression for a Nordic way and also it underlines the impact of such a company for the aboriginal communities. Indeed, it is a strong wind of freshness which blows now. For the first time in the history of our country, a railroad is owned by a group of First Nations.

Tshiuetin Rail Transportation Inc. is 132.5 miles of railway connecting Emeril (Labrador) and Schefferville.
