JOB DESCRIPTION

Supervisor : Schefferville Coordinator
Type of Employment : Permanent Full-Time, Unionized
Workplace : Schefferville station
Salary : Between 22,66 $ and 28,95 $ / hour
Schedule : 35 hour / week, according to the needs of the organization
Probation : 480 worked hours
Under the responsibility of the Schefferville coordinator, the attendant welcomes and serves customers for the reception, registration or dispatch of freight. He is responsible for loading and unloading the goods. Inspects and checks the equipment while ensuring that it is securely attached and positioned. It also performs the sanitary emptying of passenger cars.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
- Work irregular hours and in various weather conditions;
- Work effectively in a team environment;
- Able to communicate well orally and in writing;
- Able to act and / or make decisions when it comes to safety (ex reporting unsafe conditions);
- Must have a valid drivers license;
- Must follow security policies and procedures; and
- Wear personal protective equipment. (PPE).
